APPROVAL FOR A 24’ X 26’ ACCESSORY STRUCTURE
FOR CURTIS BOHRINGER AT THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT
W140 S7620 FREEDOM AVENUE
WHEREAS, A site plan and construction information was submitted on May 22, 1997, by
Curtis Bohringer to construct a 24’ X 26‘ accessory structure at the residence located at W140
S7620 Freedom Avenue,
WHEREAS, The location of the accessory structure limits the total square footage of
accessory structures to 612 square feet and requires the rear offset of any structure to be a
minimum of 20 feet, and said structure does not meet these standards.
WHEREAS, The architectural appearance would be compatible with the applicant’s
surrounding area, and
WHEREAS, The materials submitted do not propose the use of this nor any other
structure on the property for business related activities.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission approves of a compatible
size structure not exceeding 612 square feet and maintains a minimum 20 foot offset from the rear
property line for Curtis Bohringer in accordance to Section 4.05 (1) B and 6.11 (2) and that
subject accessory structure not be used for the operation of a business nor the storage of business
related material or equipment.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That failure to comply with the terms of this resolution
and the approved site plans shall result in the issuance of fines of $100 per day per violation, the
initiation of legal action, or both.
