PCR19962250 RESOLUTION #P.C. 225-96 APPROVAL OF CONCEPTUAL REZONING FROM RS-2 SUBURBAN RESIDENCE DISTRICT TO AN RS-2/0D SUBURBAN RESIDENCE DISTRICT WITH A DUPLEX OVERLAY FOR DON MILLER FOR THE PROPERTY LOCATED IN THE SW 1/4 OF SECTION 5 (TAX KEY NO. 2179.996) WHEREAS, A petition has been submitted by Don Miller to rezone the property in the SW 1/4 of Section 5 from RS-2 District with a Duplex Overlay, and Suburban Residence District to an RS-2/0D Suburban Residence WHEREAS, The property is located along County Highway 'Y', and is surrounded by single family zoning, and WHEREAS, These properties are depicted on the Comprehensive Land Use Plan for the City of Muskego as medium density residential composed of single family lots however the configuration and proximity to Racine Avenue places the practicality of such use in question, and WHEREAS, Unit density on the parcel as proposed by the " Comprehensive Plan would be maintained if no more than eight units are permitted on this parcel. 0 of the concept of the rezoning request from RS-2 to RS-2/0D for the property in the SW 1/4 of Section 5 on Racine Avenue for Don Miller. THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission approve BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission finds the request, while contrary to existing zoning, is consistent with the Comprehensive Land Use Plan for the City of Muskego when considering density and the provision of a range of housing options.
