RECOMMENDATION OF APPROVAL BY THE PLAN COMMISSION TO THE COMMON
COUNCIL TO AMEND THE OVERLAY PLANNED DEVELOPMENT OF THE MEADOW
GREEN SUBDIVISION TO CREATE ONE NEW SINGLE FAMILY LOT AND
GRANT DUPLEX STATUS TO THE EXISTING RESIDENCE
WHEREAS, A Sketch was originally submitted on March 11,
1996, for a two (2) lot land division at lot 1 of the Meadow
Green Subdivision, and
proposed originally to amend the OPD to allow both parcels to be
used as duplex lots, and
WHEREAS, The parcels are zoned RS-Z/OPD and petitioner
WHEREAS, After subsequent changes, the petitioner
resubmitted a revised division showing one single family lot and
one duplex lot to the Plan Commission on August 20, 1996, and
not a substantial change requiring a Public Hearing under
Resolution #P.C. 168-96 but the Common Council requested a
Public Hearing be held under Resolution #201-96, and
WHEREAS, The Plan Commission approved of the revised plan as
22, 1996, at It25 P.M. to consider a petition to amend said OPD.
WHEREAS, A Public Hearing has been set to be held on October
WHEREAS, The original OPD for Meadow Green Subdivision
density of 2.17 units per acre, and
permits 63 housing units on a total of 29 acres yielding a
WHEREAS, The proposed amendment to the OPD for Meadow Green
Subdivision would serve to permit 65 housing units on a total of
29 acres yielding a density of 2.24 units per acre (a 3.2%
increase in density).
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission Of the
City of Muskego does hereby recommend approval to the Common
Council of the proposed amendment to the OPD for the Meadow
Green Subdivision.
