THE NW 1/4 OF SECTION 2 AND THE NE AND SE 1/4 OF SECTION 3, CITY
RECOMMENDATION OF APPROVAL OF A REZONING OF THE PROPERTIES IN
OF MUSKEGO FROM RSE (SUBURBAN ESTATE) AND RS-1 (SUBURBAN
RESIDENCE) TO I-l/OA (GENERAL INDUSTRIAL PARK/AGRICULTURAL
OVERLAY)
(BUSINESS PARK)
WHEREAS, The Mayor's Task Force on Economic Development has
identified the above described lands as being an appropriate
and commercial land uses, and
location for a business park consisting of industrial, office
WHEREAS, The Comprehensive Land Use Plan for the City of
Muskego, adopted September 15, 1992 and amended
1996, supports the locating of a business park on the above
described lands consisting of industrial, office and commercial
land uses, and
WHEREAS, Through Resolution P.C. #152-96 the Plan Commission
has approved a conceptual development plan for an industrial/
business park on the above described lands consisting of
industrial, office and commercial land uses, and
0 to I-l/OA and parcels 2169.999, 2169.993 and 2169.987 from RSE
WHEREAS, It is proposed to rezone parcel 2166.997 from RS-1
to I-1/OA, all lands consisting of approximately 214 acres, and
creation of Tax Increment District #8 (TID #E).
WHEREAS. The rezoning of these lands is necessary for the
recommends to the Common Council of the City of Muskego that the
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission
above described lands be rezoned as proposed to facilitate the
establishing of TID # 8 and the associates business park.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the establishing of TID # 8 and
the development of a business park therein will aide in the
effort to provide land use options which serve to eventually
opportunities for Muskego residents and promote the general
expand and diversify the tax base, provide employment
economic prosperity of the City of Muskego.
