DISTRICT NO. 8 TO BE LOCATED IN THE NW AND SW 1/4 OF SECTION 2
APPROVAL OF A PROJECT PLAN FOR A TAX INCREMENTAL
AND THE NE AND SE 1/4 OF SECTION 3, T.5 N. R.20 E.,
(INDUSTRIAL/BUSINESS PARK)
CITY OF MUSKEG0
identified the above described lands as being an appropriate
location for a business park consisting of industrial, office
and commercial land uses, and
WHEREAS, The Mayor's Task Force on Economic Development has
Muskego, adopted September 15, 1992 and amended August 20, 1996,
WHEREAS, The Comprehensive Land Use Plan for the City of
supports the locating of a business park on the above described
and
lands consisting of industrial, office and commercial land uses,
WHEREAS, Through Resolution P.C. #152-96 the Plan Commission
has approved a conceptual development plan for an industrial/
business park on the above described lands consisting of
industrial, office and commercial land uses, and
WHEREAS, To insure that appropriate public improvements such
0 as sanitary sewer, storm sewer and municipal water are made
available to advance the objectives of Comprehensive Land Use
Plan and the approved conceptual development plan it is proposed
to establish Tax Incremental District No. 8 (TID #8) to help
finance said public improvements, and
WHEREAS, To establish said TID #8 a preliminary project plan
was developed and reviewed by the Plan Commission on August 6
and August 20, 1996 which began to outline the following: a
listing of the kinds and numbers of proposed public
detailed cost estimate, describe financing strategy, develop
improvements, develop and economic feasibility study, prepare a
maps showing existing land uses and conditions, a map showing
proposed improvements and uses, proposed zoning changes, a
displaced persons, City statement of how the TID will promote
listing of estimated non-project costs, any relocation plan for
orderly development, and opinion by the City Attorney and/or
Auditor as to compliance with Wisconsin Statutes.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission has
reviewed the Project Plan for TID # 8 and recommends to the
Common Council that said Project Plan be adopted.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the establishing of TID # 8 and
the development of a business park therein will aide in the
effort to provide land use options which serve to eventually
opportunities for Muskego residents and promote the general
expand and diversify the tax base, provide employment
economic prosperity of the City of Muskego.
