PCR1996153REVIEW OF PRELIMINARY PROJECT PLAN FOR A PROPOSED TAX INCREMENTAL DISTRICT NO. 8 TO BE LOCATED IN THE NW AND SW 1/4 OF SECTION 2 AND THE NE AND SE 1/4 OF SECTION 3 RESOLUTION P.C. 153-96 (INDUSTRIAL/BUSINESS PARK) WHEREAS, The Mayor's Task Force on Economic Development has identified the above described lands as being an appropriate and commercial land uses, and location for a business park consisting of industrial, office WHEF!EAS, The Comprehensive Land Use Plan for the City of Muskego, adopted September 15, 1992 and amended August 6, 1996, supporta the locating of a business park on the above described lands consisting of industrial, office and commercial land uses, and WHEF:EAS, Through Resolution P.C. #152-96 the Plan Commission has approved a conceptual development plan for an industrial/ business park on the above described lands consisting of industrial, office and commercial land uses, and WHER.EAS, To insure that appropriate public improvements made available to advance the objectives of Comprehensive Land such as sanitary sewer, storm sewer and municipal water are Use Plan and the approved conceptual development plan it is proposed to establish Tax Incremental District No. 8 (TID #8) to help finance said public improvements, and plan has been developed which begins to outline the following: a listing of the kinds and numbers of proposed public detailed cost estimate, describe financing strategy, develop improvements, develop and economic feasibility study, prepare a maps showing existing land uses and conditions, a map showing proposed improvements and uses, proposed zoning changes, a displaced persons, City statement of how the TID will promote listing of estimated non-project costs, any relocation plan for Auditor as to compliance with Wisconsin Statutes. orderly development, and opinion by the City Attorney and/or WHEREAS, To establish said TID #8 a preliminary project NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission has reviewed the Preliminary Project Plan for TID # 8 and directs City Financial Consultants of Ehlers and Associates, Inc to prepare a Final Project Plan for TIF # 8. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the establishing of TID # 8 and the development of a business park therein will aide in the effort to provide land use options which serve to eventually opportunities for Muskego residents and promote the general expand a.nd diversify the tax base, provide employment economic prosperity of the City of Muskego.
