PCR1996083e APPROVAL OF A 24' x 30' ACCESSORY STRUCTURE AMENDED RESOLUTION #P.C. 83-96 LOCATED AT W194 57031 HILLENDALE DRIVE FOR ROGER JOHNSTON AT THE PROPERTY submitted on April 5, 1996, by Roger Johnston to construct a WHEREAS, A site plan and construction information was 24' X 30' (720 square feet) accessory structure at the residence located at W194 S7031 Hillendale Drive, and setback and offset requirements of the RS-2, 20,000 square foot single family Suburban Residence and the architectural appearance is compatible with the applicant's residence and surrounding area, and WHEREAS, The location of the accessory structure meets the WHEREAS, The accessory structure is being used for the storage of vehicles and the Plan Commission has authority to approve the type and size of said structures, and of this nor any other structure on the property for business related activities, and WHEREAS, materials submitted do not propose the use neither 2180.985 and 2180.985.001) which total 172,062 square feet in WHEREAS, The petitioner owns two (2) lots (Tax Key NOS. which accessory structures may equal up to 1% of the total lot area, in which the petitioner is permitted 1,721 square feet, and there are two existing accessory structures (a 37' X 22' and 16' X 10' accessory structures) totaling 974 square and an feet, and WHEREAS, The subject structure totals 720 square feet and will total 1,694 square feet, meeting the permitted size requirements. WHEREAS, The total square footage of accessory structures THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission approve of an accessory structure, not to exceed 720 square feet, for the Johnston Property. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That any accessory structure in excess of 15' in height will require a variance form the Board of Appeals. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That subject accessory structure shall neither be used for the operation of a business nor the building and zoning permit will be applied for the subject storage of business related materials and equipment and a accessory structure within the next ten (10) days.
