PCR1996064RESOLUTION #P.C. 64-96 APPROVAL OF A 12' x 20' ACCESSORY STRUCTURE FOR DONALD SIEGFRIED AT THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT S106 W20429 BOSCH DRIVE submitted on April 1, 1996, by Donald Siegfried to construct a residence located at S106 W20429 Bosch Drive, and 12' X 20' (240 square feet) accessory structure at the WHEREAS, A site plan and construction information was the setback and offset requirements of the RS-2/0LS, 20,000 square foot single family Suburban Residence in a Lake Shore with the applicant's residence and surrounding area, and District and the architectural appearance would be compatible WHEREAS, The location of the accessory structure will meet WHEREAS, The accessory structure is intended to be used for the storage of miscellaneous lawn equipment, bikes, trailer (boat), and the Plan Commission has authority to approve the type and size of said structures, and WHEREAS, materials submitted do not propose the use neither of this nor any other structure on the property for business related activities, and WHEREAS, For properties under 120,000 square feet, primary residential space which in this case is 1,916 square accessory structures may equal up to 60% of the first floor feet thus allowing a total of 1,150 square feet of accessory structures, and WHEREAS, There is an existing 19' X 24' (456 square feet) detached garage structure that the petitioner plans to tear down prior to the construction of said structure. THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission approve of an accessory structure, not to exceed 240 square feet, for the Siegfried Property. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That subject accessory Structure shall neither be used for the operation of a business nor the building and zoning permit is required prior to the razing of storage of business related materials and equipment and a the existing structure and prior to the construction of subject accessory structure. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That failure to comply with the terms of this resolution and the approved site plans shall result in the issuance of fines of $100 per day per violation, the initiation of legal action, or both. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That upon issuance of a building permit for the proposed accessory structure, the petitioner Resolution #P.C. 64-96 Page2 e will have 60 days in which to raze the existing 19' X 24' (456 square feet) accessory building.
