PCR1996015AMENDED RECOMMENDATION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION TO RESOLUTION #P.C. 15-96 AMEND CHAPTER 17, SECTION 4.05 (2) G OF THE CITY OF MUSKEG0 ZONING ORDINANCE WHEREAS, Chapter 17, Section 4.05 (2) G, permits lots under square feet in area and eight (8) feet in height to be placed 120,000 square feet one accessory buildings not to exceed 120 within three (3) feet of the lot line, but no closer to the base setback line than the principal building, WHEREAS, The Board of Appeals has advised the Planning Department staff to investigate the appropriateness of the ordinance in terms of todays and future standards, WHEREAS, The Planning Commission and Board Members have discussed the proposed modifications to the Shed Ordinance at the November 7, 1995, Plan Commission meeting. that the Common Council of the City of Muskego amend Chapter 17, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Plan Commission recommend Section 4.05 (2) G to the following: Accessory Buildings: On lots under 120,000 square feet, one materials, equipment and supplies is permitted provided it accessory building used for the purpose of storage of does not exceed 120 square feet in area. The height of such accessory building shall determine the permitted offset: -an accessory building nine (9) feet or less in height is permitted a three (3) foot offset, or -an accessory building over nine (9) feet in height and less than thirteen (13) feet in height is permitted a five (5) foot offset, or -any accessory building over thirteen (13) feet in height must conform to the zoning district's regulations. No such structure may be located closer to the base setback line than the principle building. All accessory buildings must contain a minimum base floor consisting of either pressure treated lumber, asphalt flooring, sealed concrete block, or concrete slab.
