OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF MUSKEGO, FLOODPLAIN ZONING
RECOMMENDATION TO AMEND CHAPTER 14, SECTION 1.5(2),
ORDINANCE, (UNNAMED TRIBUTARY OF BASS BAY -
CANDLEWOOD CREEK SUBDIVISION)
Section 1.5(2) of the City's Municipal Code in order to remove
land from the regulated flood hazard area, and
WHEREAS, Towne Realty has petitioned to amend Chapter 14,
WHEREAS, Chapter NR 116.11(3), Wisconsin Administrative
Code, provides criteria for redelineation or rezoning
floodplain districts, and
WHEREAS, The City of Muskego is requesting an Official
where this amendment doe snot become effective until it has
Floodplain Zoning Map Amendment pursuant to NR 116.21 (6), and
been approved by the Department of Natural Resources, and
WHEREAS, The Common Council has held a Public Hearing on
January 9, 1996, at 7:25 p.m. to consider a petition to amend
said Chapter 14.
City of Muskego does hereby recommend that the Common Council
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission of the
amend Chapter 14, Section 1.5(2), The Floodplain Zoning
Ordinance, regarding the Official Floodplain Zoning Map for the
Unnamed tributary of Bass Bay (Candlewood Creek Subdivision).

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That should the Common Council
approve the amendment to Chapter 14, the Municipal Code of the
City would be amended and the information required by Chapter
NR 116 will be forwarded to the Department of Natural Resources
for their approval and that the change to the Official
Department of Natural Resources.
Floodplain Map does not become effective until approved by the
CITY OF MUSKEG0
