MEADOWS OPD BE AMENDED TO ALLOW EIGHTEEN (18) LIVING UNITS
RECOMMENDATION BY THE PLAN COMMISSION TO AMEND THE DURHAM
(COMPRISED OF TWO SEPARATE BUILDINGS) FOR THE PROPERTY
LOCATED IN THE SE 1/4 OF SECTION 2, JANESVILLE ROAD

WHEREAS, A petition has been filed to amend the Durham

development plan was approved for the subject location which
WHEREAS, Through Resolution #P.C. 137-95 a conceptual
proposed 16 one bedroom living units, and
WHEREAS, Through deliberations in relation to Resolution
#P.C. 159-95, the Plan Commission indicated that they would be
receptive to 18 one bedroom units for this location (one eight
unit building and one ten unit building), and
petition substantially conform to the conceptual plans submitted
WHEREAS, Materials submitted in relation to the subject
with the exception that the proposal now illustrates 16 two
bedroom units, and
WHEREAS, The parcel is on the south side of Janesville Road
development, and to the north by medium density residential
and is boarded to the south by high density residential
development, and
WHEREAS, The proposed amendment to the Durham Meadows OPD
would be considered high density development meeting the goals
of the Comprehensive Land Use Plan as adopted September 15,
1992.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission
recommends that the Durham Meadows OPD be amended to allow up to
eighteen (18) one bedroom living units (comprised of two
separate buildings) for the property located in the SE 1/4 of
Section 2, Janesville Road, Tax Key #MSKC 2167.999.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a detailed building, site and
review and approval.
