APPROVAL OF AMENDED SIGNAGE FOR CULVER'S CUSTARD STAND
LOCATED AT W187 SI959 RACINE AVENUE
WHEREAS, The Culver's Custard Stand is requesting approval of a
amended signage plan for the property located at W187 57959 Racine
Avenue, and
WHEREAS, The property is zoned RS-2/0HSI and
WHEREAS, The property has 457 feet of frontage permitting a
pole or ground sign size of 35 square feet with an eleven foot
setback, and
square feet with a reader board equalling 40% of the total area,
WHEREAS, The proposed area of the pole sign will total of 41
and
WHEREAS, Section 6.09 (3) (0) restricts the size of a reader
board to 25% of the total area of a sign.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That Plan Commission finds the
request reasonable and conditionally approves the amended signage
plan located at W187 S7959 Racine Avenue subject to the Board of
Appeals granting a variance to Section 6.09 (3) (0) Reader Board.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a permit is required from the
Building Inspection Department prior to the installation or
construction of said signage.
