PCR1995171RECOMMENDATION OF APPROVAL OF THE ACQUISITION OF RESOLUTION #P.C.171-95 LEASE FROM TUDOR OAKS FOR IN THE SW 1/4 SECTION 10 PROPOSED CITY PARKLAND (CITY OF MUSKEGO) the City lease land from Tudor Oaks (portion of Tax Key McShane Drive, and #2207.999) located in the SW 1/4 of Section 10, located on WHEREAS, The Park and Recreation Board has recommended that rezoning to RS-Z/OPD/OIP Institutional and Public Service Overlay at the time when a park is opened to public use, and WHEREAS, The property is zoned RS-2/0PD and will require a keeping with goals of the Park and Open Space Plan and the Comprehensive Land Use Plan for the City of Muskego. WHEREAS, The acquisition of parkland in this area is in THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission recommends approval of the acquisition of a lease for lands in the SW 1/4 of Section 12 for future use as parkland as open space is reserved, the natural environment will be protected and the aesthetics of Muskego will be preserved. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That as parkland, this land serves to further enhance the quality of life and provide recreational opportunities to the Citizens of Muskego.
