PCR1995104AMENDED RECOMMENDATION FOR APPROVAL TO REZONE PROPERTY IN THE SW 1/4 & SE 1/4 OF SECTION 16, TAX KEY #2223.980 & 2224.998 FROM RS-2 SUBURBAN RESIDENCE & RS-3 SUBURBAN RESIDENCE TO RSM/OPD/OIP MULTIPLE FAMILY RESIDENCE/OVERLAY PLANNED RESOLUTION #P.C. 104-95 DEVELOPMENT/OVERLAY INSTITUTIONAL AND PUBLIC SERVICE ZONING DISTRICT Zonina M~D of the Citv of Muskeao for DroDertv located in the WHEREAS, A petition has been filed to amend the Official SW & iE li4 of Section 16 (Tax key #22>3.980 i 2224.998) from RS-2 & RS-3 Suburban Residence to RSM/OPD/OIP Multiple Family Residence/Overlay Planned Development/Overlay Institutional and Public Service to allow a senior citizen center, and WHEREAS, The parcel is on the east side of Racine Avenue and the north side of Woods Road and is surrounded by medium to low density residential development, and petition for a conditional use grant requesting approval for an elderly housing project furthers the goal of Muskego to be a "life cycle community" affording Muskego Citizens the opportunity to "age in place" as advocated by the Comprehensive Land Use Plan for the City of Muskego, and WHEREAS, This rezoning request in concert with a forthcoming recommends that the zoning be changed for the proposed Parcels from RS-2 & RS-3 Suburban Residence to RSM/OPD/OIP Multiple Family Residence/Overlay Planned Development/Overlay Institutional and Public Service to allow a senior citizen center and that upon approval of the rezoning by the Common Council, the Official Zoning Map be amended. THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That this approval constitutes an amendment to the Comprehensive Plan to allow the B-2/0HS.
