PCR1995015AMENDED APPROVAL OF AMENDED BUILDING SITE AND OPERATIONAL PLAN RESOLUTION #P.C.-15-95 (PICK 'N SAVE) FOR PROPOSED ADDITION/EXPANSION AT S74 W17005 JANESVILLE ROAD WHEREAS, A representative of the above Pick 'N Save has submitted plans for an addition/expansion to their food store facilities, and total of 15,450 square feet of additional building area to the eastern elevation of the existing building. and WHEREAS, Said addition/expansion involves construction of a WHEREAS, Associated with this project is the proposed addition of 83 new parking spaces to the east of the existing parking lot, and alter the northern elevation of the Pick 'N Save occupancy as follows: WHEREAS, In conjunction with this project it is proposed to 1. Installation of light gray drive-it panels (matching the color of Walgreen's panels) to conceal the existing red and black accent striping. 2. Alter the current rectangular columns which frame the front entrance to reflect a cylindrical design. 3. Replace the existing pitched, red entrance canopy with will also be installed the Pick 'N Save wall sign that vertical (90 degree) drive-it panels onto which is proposed to be relocated from east of the entrance. 4. Install a pair of rectangular columns to the east of the entrance to mirror both the distance from the entrance and design of those found at the entrance to Walgreen's. Between these columns is proposed to be a red, pitched canopy to lend balance to the north elevation of the entire shopping center. the Public Works Committee and City Engineers for review and approval. All existing landscaping disturbed or removed as a result of the project shall be replaced or relocated. Landscaping as required by the original Plan Commission approval shall be restored or replaced. Grading and drainage plans shall be approved by the Public Works Committee. A two way access drive shall be installed from the parking lot east to Parkland Drive to enhance public safety for travelers on Janesville Road and the patrons of Pick 'N Save. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, In the event that occupancy of the addition/expansion is requested prior to the installation and/or restoration of landscaping, the construction of the two-way access drive to Parkland Drive, or the paving of parking and drive areas, a bond, letter of credit or cashiers check equal to twice the value of said improvements shall be posted with the Planning Department prior to said occupancy. building permit, developer shall establish a Special Review BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That prior to application for a Deposit with the City and deposit $575.00 in said account and pay a Special Review Administration Fee of $75.00.
