PCR1995002RESOLUTION #P.C. 2-95 AMENDED RECOMMENDATION OF APPROVAL OF REZONING FROM LOCATED IN THE SW 1/4 SECTION 10, TAX KEY #2199.999 RS-2 TO RS-2/0PD OF THE EICHE PROPERTY WHEREAS, A petition has been submitted to rezone the property in the SW 1/4 of Section 10 from RS-2, Suburban Residence (Single Family) to RS-2/0PD, Suburban Residence development allowing a range in lots sizes from 18,000 sq.ft. (Single Family)/Overlay Planned Development for the purpose of to 30,000 sq.ft., and WHEREAS, This property is directly east and west of residential development, bordered on the south by residential development which is mixed single family and multi-family, bordered on the north by multi family development and commercial development , and WHEREAS, These properties are depicted on the future land use map as medium density residential, and between high density/intensity land uses to the west and WHEREAS, This rezoning represents a transition and buffer southwest and medium density/intensity residential land use to the east, and WHEREAS, A Public Hearing is scheduled to be held before the Common Council on Tuesday, January 10, 1995, at 7:25 p.m. to consider the petition. WHEREAS, The Plan Commission agrees that the proposed rezoning is an appropriate use for said property, and of Janesville Road and Parkland Drive may be warrented as a result of the development of these subect lands and as such, funds shall be escrowed for no less than five years to help defray the cost of the installation of said stop lights should their installation become necessary. WHEREAS, The installation of stop lights at the intersection recommend to the Common Council that the rezoning request from RS-2 to RS-2/0PD be approved for the property in the SW 1/4 of Section 10 for the Eiche Property by Douglas Eiche and Premiere Development. THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That funds shall be escrowed for no less than five years to help defray the cost of the installation of said stop lights should their installation become necessary as a result of this development. 0 Adopted 01-03-95 Defeated Deferred 12-28-94 0 of 73 residential lots with minimum lot sizes of 18,000 sq.ft.
