PCR19941670 0 AMENDED RESOLUTION #P.C. 167-94 CLARK REFINING h MARKETING (GAS STATION) LOCATED AT S73 W16680 JANESVILLE ROAD APPROVAL OF SIGNAGE BY DERSE SIGNS FOR THE WHEREAS, The Derse Signs Company is requesting approval for of signage for the Clark Refining h Marketing (Gas Station) located at S73 W16680 Janesville Road, and follows: WHEREAS, The proposed signage changes and additions are as A total of three (3) illuminated canopy signs totaling 28.17 square feet, "CLARK", which are raised letter signs that are to be placed on the Existing Canopy on the east, south and west elevations; A total of four (4) spanners which total 52.0 square feet and run from one canopy support pole to another; be located above the main doorway entrance on the south elevation; One 18.75 square foot awning with the words "On the Go" will A total of two (2) building logos totaling 18.76 square feet, "CLARK", which are vinyl lettering that will be added to the east and west elevations of the existing building. replaced with a new face of the same size and using existing WHEREAS, The existing illuminated goal post sign will be structure with the changes being the colors and style of the logo on said sign and as this is not an increase in signage this does not require Plan Commission approval, and WHEREAS, The proposed signage as presented by petitioner totals 63.5 square feet of free standing signage and 117.68 the B-4 Zoning District, and square feet of wall signage thus both exceeding the allowance of WHEREAS, Through the authority of Section 17:6.03(3)C. of the City of Muskego Zoning Ordinance, as there exists a conditional use on this property for this use, the Plan Commission may choose to modify or waive the sign square footage requirements of the 8-4 Zoning district if the proposal is deemed appropriate and not to have an adverse impact on surrounding properties. THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission approve the above stated signage which is to be located at the site at 573 W16680 Janesville Road, all in conformance with Section 17:6.03(3)C. h (9) of the City's Municipal Code as follows: square footage over existing signage. 1.
