PCR1994131RESOLUTION #P.C. 131-94 APPROVAL TO CONSTRUCT ONE PERMANENT RAISED LETTER SIGN FOR "UR" MASTERPIECE CERAMIC SHOP LOCATED AT S75 W17321 JANESVILLE ROAD WHEREAS, "UR" Masterpiece Ceramic Shop has requested a 17.1 square foot permanent non-illuminated raised letter wall sign located at 575 W17321 Janesville Road, and WHEREAS, The signage will be installed on the front of the north elevation of the building, and WHEREAS, The proposed sign is designed to cover less than 5% of the wall area which meets the allowance of the B-3 Zoning District (refer to the B-2 Zoning District). THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission approve a the north elevation for "UR" Masterpiece Ceramic Shop located 17.1 square foot permanent non-illuminated raised letter sign on S75 W17321 Janesville Road subject to the requirements of the B-3 Zoning District (refer to the B-2 Zoning District) which stipulate that the sign not exceed five percent of the wall area on which the sign is to be located and that the signs be in conformance with the submitted sketches. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a sign permit is required to be obtained from the Building Inspection Department prior to erecting the sign.
