APPROVAL OF FIVE TEMPORARY SIGNS BY THE
AT FIVE DIFFERENT SITES WITHIN THE COMMUNITY
WATER BUG SKI CLUB, INC. TO BE LOCATED
WHEREAS, The Water Bug Ski Club, Inc. is requesting
approval for five temporary off-site signs which are
non-illuminated painted plywood 1.5'~ 2' in size and are to be
used for advertising the Free Water Ski Shows, and
WHEREAS, The signs will be up from June 22, 1994 Until
Labor Day Weekends, and
locations (corner of Janesville Road & Lannon Drive, Janesville
WHEREAS, The signs are to be located at the following five
Road & Racine Avenue corner of College Avenue & Racine Avenue,
corner of St. Martins & Hardtke Drive, and corner of St.
Martins & College Avenue) and be installed in conformance with
the signage setbacks and will be placed outside of the road
right-of-way areas, and
type and size of signage for a period not to exceed one year
for temporary signs.
WHEREAS, The Plan Commission has authority to approve the
0 THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission approve
the various locations as stated within and that the signs be
five non-illuminated 1.5' X 2' temporary signs to be located in
placed in conformance with Section 17:6.09 of the City's
Municipal Code.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the off site signs shall be
allowed for a period not to exceed one (1) year as specified in
Section 17:6.09 (12) C. and that the sign shall be designed and
located in conformance with the submitted application.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a sign permit is required to be
obtained from the Building Inspection Department prior to
erecting the signs.
