APPROVAL OF CERTIFIED SURVEY MAP FOR TWO PARCELS BY
RESOLUTION #P.C. 115-94
METROPOLITAN ENGINEERING FOR THE MOODY PROPERTY
LOCATED IN THE SW 1/4 OF SECTION 17 &
THE NW 1/4 OF SECTION 20
WHEREAS, A Certified Survey Map was submitted on May 27,
land division located in the SW 1/4 of Section 17 & the NW 1/4
1994, by Metropolitan Engineering to create a two (2) parcel
of Section 20, and
WHEREAS, The Plan Commission on April 19, 1994, approved a
sketch for a two (2) lot land division through Resolution #P.C.
82-94, and
WHEREAS, This land is presently zoned A-Agriculture which
requires a minimum lot size of 120,000 square feet and a
minimum average width of 300 feet and Parcel 1 does not meet
the lot size and width requirements of the district, and
WHEREAS, The parcels are proposed to have access from Woods
Road, and
sewer service from Woods Road, and
WHEREAS, The parcel 1 & 2 currently have the potential for
the proper road dedication being given at the time of submittal
WHEREAS, The Plan Commission approved the sketch subject to
of the Certified Survey Map and it appears it has been given.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission approve
the Certified Survey Map for a two (2) parcel land division in
Metropolitan Engineering of the Moody Property and recommend
the SW 1/4 of Section 17 & the NW 1/4 of Section 20 by
approval to the Common Council subject to the rezoning of parcel
the City Engineers, and payment of all applicable fees in
1 and the resolution of technical discrepancies as identified by
Section 10 of the Land Division Ordinance.
