PCR1994071DISAPPROVAL TO CONSTRUCT ONE PERMANENT TWO SIDED READER BOARD SIGN FOR HARDEE'S LOCATED AT 574 W17095 JANESVILLE ROAD RESOLUTION #P.C. 71-94 WHEREAS, Hardee's has requested one permanent two sided reader board internally illuminated sign 3' 7 3/4" x 4'4" located at 574 W17095 Janesville Road, and Road would be 60', and WHEREAS, The base setback from the centerline of Janesville WHEREAS, The proposed sign will be installed on the existing right-of-way of Janesville Road, and sign structure, a portion of which is located inside of the WHEREAS, The proposed sign as presented by petitioner totals 15.89 square feet, and ft.), combined with the square footage of the proposed sign totals WHEREAS, The square footage of the existing sign (42.89 sq. 58.78 square feet, and WHEREAS, The maximum allowable square footage for free standing signage at this location is 51.5 square feet thus representing an overage by this request of 7.28 square feet. THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission disapprove the request for a permanent two sided, internally illuminated, reader board sign measuring 3' 7 3/4" x 4' 4" for Hardee's located at 574 W17095 Janesville Road citing that the resulting total exceed that which is allowed by Ordinance by 7.28 square feet . square footage of free standing signage at this location would BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That this request is disapproved due to the non-conforming nature of the existing structure the reader board is intended to be mounted on (existing structure encroaches approximately four (4) feet into the Janesville Road right-of-way).
