PCR1994031RESOLUTION #P.C. 31-94 APPROVAL TO CONSTRUCT ONE PERMANENT DIRECTIONAL SIGN BY AND JANESVILLE ROAD (SINDIC OLDS PROPERTY) BETHEL LUTHERAN CHURCH LOCATED ON THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF HWY "Y" directional sign to be located on the southeast corner of Hwy "Y" and Janesville Road (Sindic Oldsmobile Property), and WHEREAS, Bethel Lutheran Church has requested one permanent WHEREAS, The setback from the centerline of Janesville Road would be 60', and 80' from the centerline of Racine Avenue, and WHEREAS, The proposed sign will be installed 60' from Janesville Road and 80' from Racine Avenue, and WHEREAS, Approval has been received from an owner of Sindic Oldsmobile Inc. regarding the placement of the sign, and WHEREAS, The proposed sign as presented by petitioner will total not more than 6 square feet and thus conforms to that which is allowed in relation to restrictions pertaining to directional signage. THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission approve the permanent directional sign by Bethel Lutheran Church to be located on the southeast corner of Hwy "Y" and Janesville Road (Sindic Oldsmobile) subject to the sign not exceeding 6 square feet. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a sign permit is required to be obtained from the Building Inspection Department prior installation of the sign.
