RECOMMENDATION OF DISAPPROVAL OF REZONING FROM RS-2 (PART OF
property in the SE 1/4 of Section 8 and the SW 1/4 of Section 9
WHEREAS, A petition has been submitted to rezone the
development and from RS-2 to 8-4 for the purpose of business
from RS-2 to RSA for the purpose of multi-family residential
development, and
WHEREAS, This property is bounded by Janesville Road,
Lion's Park Drive and Racine Avenue, and
WHEREAS, In the City of Muskego Comprehensive Land Use Plan
Update adopted September 15, 1992 under "MAJOR PLAN
ELEMENTS",-2 Economic Development, paragraph 3, the
committee indicates a concern for the stability of the existinq
center of commerce due to the addition of more-than 20 acres of
commercial land use within the Lake Forest Development at
Racine Avenue and Janesville Road, and
the Common Council on November 23, 1993 to consider the
petition.
WHEREAS, A Public Hearing is scheduled to be held before
