APPROVAL OF CONDITIONAL GRANT FOR THE OPERATION OF A DAY CARE
RESOLUTION #P.C. 181-93
FACILITY FOR ATONEMENT LUTHERAN CHURCH OF THE NEW GENERATION
LEARNING CENTER, INC. 568 W14891 JANESVILLE ROAD
WHEREAS, An application has been submitted to operate a day
care facility in the Atonement Lutheran Church located at 568
W14891 Janesville Road, and
WHEREAS, Floor plans have been submitted which indicate
building, and
that the day care facility will lease 2,700 square feet of the
WHEREAS, The interior will be remodeled to care for
approximately 50 children, and
WHEREAS, The ground level will be used for the age group of
infant and toddler. This level will have a nursery and a
sleeping area to facilitate a maximum of 12 children, bathroom
which can be used in case of an emergency exit, and
facilities and kitchen area are also on this floor, and 3 exits
2 $ to 6 years old. This level will be comprised of a large
common area and 4 divided classrooms to facilitate a maximum of
32 children at anytime. This level also has a kitchen
facility, 2 bathrooms and 3 exits which can be used in case of
an emergency, and
WHEREAS, The lower level will be used for the age group of

Friday from 6 a.m. until 6 p.m. (excluding holidays), and
WHEREAS, The hours of operation will be Monday through
West side of the building enclosing 2500 square feet of grassy
WHEREAS, There will be a coated chain link fence on the
area with an gate entrance located out the lower level as well
as a gate going out to the parking area. This area will be
maximum capacity will be 20 children at any given time, and
locked at all times when the center is not in operation and the
License, and
WHEREAS , This day care facility will require a State
care and similar operations under a conditional use grant, and
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission approve
WHEREAS, This property is zoned RSA-OIP which permits day

the operation of a licensed day care for the New Generation
W14891 Janesville Road subject to the submittal and approval of
any signage plans, any variances required by the Board of
Appeals being granted, all Building Dept. and Fire Dept. Codes
being addressed, and the Conditional Use Grant must be recorded
within 30 days of approval from both agencies.
