APPROVAL OF CERTIFIED SURVEY MAP OF THREE (3) PARCELS
IN THE SE 1/4 OF SECTION 8 AND THE SW 1/4 OF SECTION 9 BY
METROPOLITAN ENGINEERING
WHEREAS, A Certified Survey Map was submitted on July 23,
1993, by Metropolitan Engineering for a three (3) lot land
division in the SE 1/4 of Section 8 and the SW 1/4 of Section
9, and
RESOLUTION # P.C. 156-93
WHEREAS, The Plan Commission on July 6, 1993 approved a
Sketch for a three (3) parcel land division through Resolution
two feet above the FEMA line being depicted on the Certified
#P.C. 140-93 subject to the FEMA 100 year flood line and the
by DNR.
Survey Map, along with the Ordinary High Water Mark as approved
WHEREAS, This land is presently zoned RS-3/0ED/OLS which
requires a minimum lot size of 9,900 square feet and a minimum
average width of 66 feet and the parcels meet the lot size and
width requirements of the Zoning District, and
WHEREAS, Sanitary sewer and access to the properties is
available from Lions Park Drive, and
WHEREAS, An additional maintenance easement is needed to
access the silt trap box lying adjacent to the existing storm
sewer easement.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission approve
the Certified Survey Map for Metropolitan Engineering located
in the SE 1/4 of Section 9 and the SW 1/4 of Section 8 and
recommend approval to the Common Council subject to approval of
the City Engineer and payment of all applicable fees in Section
10 of the Land Division Ordinance and subject to an additional
10 foot maintenance easement being shown on the Certified
Survey Map adjacent to the existing 20 foot drainage easement
to provide access to the silt trap box.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a note be placed on the face
of the Certified Survey Map stating that no Building Permit
Committee resolving the issue of the suggested drain tile and
shall be issued for these lots prior to the Public Works
the treatment of the water from the suggested drain tile prior
to entering the lake.
