PCR1993013APPROVAL TO REPLACE FREESTANDING SIGN WITH PLANTER RESOLUTION #P.C. 13-93 AND SIGN FOR THE PRAISE FELLOWSHIP CHURCH LOCATED AT W195 S9912 RACINE AVENUE WHEREAS, Praise Fellowship Church has requested to replace and relocate their existing sign with a non-illuminated 4'X 8' planter (3' X 12') independent of the sign for the Praise freestanding reader board sign with a height of nine (9) feet and a Fellowship Church off Racine Ave, and WHEREAS, This sign is intended to inform residents of church events and times, and Conditional or Overlay Uses states that signs may be permitted as WHEREAS, Chapter 17, Section 6.09 (10) referring to Signs for determined by the Plan Commission, and WHEREAS, The OIP regulations regarding signs are covered in the B-1 district which states that the maximum permitted sign at the base setback line of this property is 31 square feet and the proposed sign exceeds that which is permitted by 37 square feet and the applicant appeared before the Board of Appeals which granted the request to place a sign larger than permitted in the zoning district. disapprove the non-illuminated 4'X 8' freestanding reader board THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission approve/ sign with 3'X 12' planter base to be located at W195 S9912 Racine Avenue for the Praise Fellowship Church.
