AMENDED
RECOMMENDATION OF THE PLAN COMMISSION ON THE ALIGNMENT OF
MOORLAND ROAD EXTENSION BETWEEN JANESVILLE ROAD AND DURHAM DRIVE
Road, Durham Drive, and Janesville Road has necessitated the
WHEREAS, Recent subdivision activity in the area of Woods
mapping and selection of an alignment for Moorland Road as it
becomes a City street between Janesville Road and Durham Drive,
and
WHEREAS, The Plan Commission directed the City Engineers to
prepare a proposed alignment for the extension of this
transportation facility, and
alignments in their report dated December 11, 1992 and is
recommending that alternative "C" is the most beneficial
alignment for the City and affected property owners, and
WHEREAS, The City Engineer has prepared four alternative
alignment of Moorland Road continue through to Durham Drive.
WHEREAS, The Draft Comprehensive Plan recommends that the
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission adopts
Moorland Road south of Janesville Road to its intersection with
alternative "C-3" as attached for the future alignment of
Durham Drive as specified in Ruekert and Mielke's report dated
December 11, 1992 and that a Public Hearing be held to amend
the City's Official Highway Width Map to increase the
right-of-way from 80' to 100' for this section of Moorland Road.
