APPROVAL/DISAPPROVAL OF SKETCH FOR LAND DIVISION FOR ONE LOT IN
THE NW 1/4 OF SECTION 35 FOR GEORGE SONNENTAG
WHEREAS, A sketch was submitted on October 22, 1992 for a
land division for two parcels containing one parcel of five
acres and the other containing 75 acres in the NW 1/4 of Section
35 off Loomis Drive for George Sonnentag, and
WHEREAS, This land is zoned EA-Exclusive Agriculture which
requires a minimum lot size of 35 acres and also permits the creation of parcels for a child of the farm operator, and
of the EA Zoning District as it pertains to family members, and
WHEREAS, The proposed land division meets the requirements
which indicate whether the on-site soils are suitable for a
mound system for the five acre site, and
WHEREAS, Soils information has not been received by the City
WHEREAS, The proposed land division is proposed to have
access off of Loomis Drive via a 20 foot easement which does not
meet the specific requirements of the Land Division Ordinance.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission will
be receptive/will not be receptive to a Certified Survey Map
being submitted creating a land division in the NW 1/4 of
Section 35.
