PCR1992226RESOLUTION #P.C. 226-92 APPROVAL SIGNS FOR CHAMPIONS VILLAGE (KRAUSE) temporary signs for one year where one is 24' X 12' and the other is 16' X 8', and WHEREAS, Scott Krause is requesting sign approval for two WHEREAS, One temporary sign is to be installed facing Hwy 36 near Old Loomis, and the other is to be installed facing Hwy 00 between WEPCO right-of-way and Mr. Krause's barn at the proposed entrance to the subdivision, and WHEREAS, The larger sign is needed due to the distance from Hwy 36 to sign (125 ft.) and the smaller sign is proposed to be placed as either two signs mounted on the side of the barn or as a wedge shaped sign adjacent to County Hwy 00, and WHEREAS, The Plan Commission has authority to approve the type and size of temporary signage for a period not to exceed one year for on-site signs with extensions for six month intervals. THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission approve the two temporary (24'X 12' and 16' X 8') freestanding wooden signs which are non-illuminated, with painted copy for one year if installed in conformance with the signage setbacks and that one sign is to be located facing Hwy 36 near Old Loomis Drive and the other is to be facing Hwy 00 between the WEPCO with Section 17:6.09 of the City's Code of Ordinances and right-of-way and the historic barn, and must be in conformance submitted sketches.
