APPROVAL OF AMENDMENT TO BUILDING, SITE AND OPERATION PLAN
(DUMPSTERS) FOR OVERLOOK BAY APARTMENTS BY DON BEEBE
WHEREAS, Don Beebe has requested that the Building, Site,
and Operation Plan for the Overlook Bay Apartments be amended to
eliminate the dumpster pads, dumpsters and enclosures, and
WHEREAS, The request is being made in order to comply with
state mandated recycling requirements which will make the
dumpsters obsolete, and
WHEREAS, Each individual rental unit will be provided with a
refuse cart and three recycling bins which will be stored within
the garage in a manner similar to single family neighborhoods.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission approve
the amendment to the Building, Site and Operation plan to
require each individual rental unit to be supplied with a
uniform refuse cart, however, each eight family building will be
required to have a paved central location for placing the cart
on pick-up day.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the recycling containers are
also required to be placed in the central location on pick-up
day.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT, All refuse carts and recycling
containers shall be stored inside the individual tenants'
garages until the designated pick-up day.
