PCR1992169aAPPROVAL TO CONSTRUCT ONE PERMANENT NON-ILLUMINATED RAISED LETTER SIGNS ON THE SOUTH SIDE AND ONE ON THE NEW ADDITION ON THE MCKINLEY INDUSTRIES LOCATED AT S81 W19150 APOLLO DRIVE SOUTH SIDE AND A FREESTANDING NON-ILLUMINATED SIGN 5' X 5' FOR RESOLUTION #P.C. 169-92 non-illuminated wall signs and a freestanding non-illuminated sign WHEREAS, McKinley Industries has requested two permanent 5' X 3' for McKinley Industries located at S81 W19150 Apollo Drive, and WHEREAS, The signage will be installed on the front of the south side of the building, on the front of the new addition on the south side of the building, and a freestanding single faced non-illuminated sign on the south side just west of the entrance off of Apollo Drive, and WHEREAS, The proposed signs are designed to cover less than 5% of the wall area which meets the allowance of the 1-1 Zoning District (refer to the 8-2 Zoning District) and the freestanding single faced non-illuminated sign appears to meet the setback requirements, and THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission approve the and the freestanding single faced non-illuminated sign on the two permanent non-illuminated raised letter sign on the south side south side of the building for McKinley Industries Inc. located S81 W19150 Apollo Drive subject to the requirements of the 1-1 percent of the wall area on which the sign is to be located and Zoning District which stipulate that the sign not exceed five that the signs be in conformance with the submitted sketches. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a sign permit is required to be obtained from the Building Inspection Department prior to erecting the sign.
