RECOMMENDATION FOR APPROVAL TO REZONE PROPERTY IN THE NW 1/4
OF SECTION 8 AND THE NE 1/4 OF SECTION 7 ON FIELD DRIVE FROM
RCE TO EA TO ALLOW PARTICIPATION IN THE FARMLAND
PRESERVATION TAX CREDIT PROGRAM BY ALFRED BADERTSCHER
WHEREAS, A petition has been filed to amend the Official
Zoning Map of the City of Muskego for the property located in the NW 1/4 of Section 8 and the NE 1/4 of Section 7 (Field ~
Drive, approximately 138 acres) from RCE - Residential Country
Estate to EA - Exclusive Agriculture to allow participation in
the Wisconsin Farmland Preservation Tax Credit Program, and

WHEREAS, The parcel is on the north side of Field Drive and
development and the request iscompatible with the surrounding
is surrounded by low density agricultural and rural residential
area and the proposed Comprehensive Land Use Plan.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission
Country Estate to EA - Exclusive Agriculture to allow the
recommends that the zoning be changed from RCE - Residential
continuation of an agricultural operation on 138 acres and that
upon the approval of the rezoning by the Common Council, the
Official Zoninq Map be amended.
