APPROVAL OF SIGNS FOR DALE KREIL AT THE FORMER RAY'S GARAGE
SITE AT 566 W14427-29-31 JANESVILLE ROAD
AMENDED
Resolution #P.C. 76-92 to allow the retail sales of boats,
WHEREAS, Conditional Use Grant #64 was amended through
snowmobile, miscellaneous sports equipment and boat
accessories, and
both flat wall signs and a freestanding sign for the retail
sales business in conformance with the B-3 zoning district
regulations, and
WHEREAS, Mr. Dale Kreil is requesting permission to place
the building, and
WHEREAS, The signage will be installed on the front of
WHEREAS, The proposed signs are designed to cover not more
of the B-3 Zoning District (refer to the 8-2 Zoning District),
than five (5) percent of the wall area which is a requirement
and
WHEREAS, The freestanding sign is to replace the existing
freestanding sign, and
submitted to the Planning Department within 30 days of the
approval by the Plan Commission of Resolution P.C. # 76-92 and
two weeks remain for this requirement to be met.
WHEREAS, A site plan for this site was required to be
the flat wall signs for Dale Kriel at S66 W14427-29-31
Janesville Road subject to the requirements of the B-3 Zoning
District which stipulate that the sign(s) not exceed 5% of the
wall area on which the sign is to be located.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission approve
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the freestanding sign also
meet the requirements of the B-3 Zoning District and that the
sign be placed in the same location so as to replace the
existing freestanding sign.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the lights on the four flat
wall signs be lit to 11:OO PM with no restriction on the one
freestanding sign.
