DRIVE BY KENNETH J. GUMMO
WHEREAS, A request has been made by Kenneth J. Gummo of
Muskego Automotive to place a freestanding sign at S81 W18510
Gemini Drive to allow for better advertising for the four
tenants of the building, and
located in the right-of-way of Racine Avenue and would be
WHEREAS, The existing free standing sign is improperly
required to be relocated regardless of the new sign application
but would also be required to be removed if 'the new application
is approved since the 1-1 regulations only permit one free
standing sign per site, and
WHEREAS, The size and location of the sign is required to be
in conformance with the 1-1 Zoning District per the B-1 Zoning
District Regulations which limits the size of the sign to 25
square feet based on 200 feet of width on Racine Ave.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission approve
one free standing sign for the property located at S81 W18510
Gemini Drive which shall be in conformance with Chapter 17 and
31 of the City's Code of Ordinances.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the one free standing sign
shall be designed, landscaped and located in conformance with
the submitted sketches and that the existing sign be removed
from the right-of-way of Racine Avenue and that the new sign
shall meet the setback requirements of the 1-1 Zoning District.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a sign permit is required to be
obtained from the Muskego Building Department prior to erecting
the sign.
