PCR1992078a RESOLUTION #P.C. 78-92 WAUKESHA COUNTY/MUSKEGO GROUP ON THE WEST END OF WENTLAND DRIVE, APPROVAL OF TWO TEMPORARY SIGNS FOR HABITAT FOR HUMANITY ON THE NORTH SIDE, AND IMMEDIATELY TO THE EAST OF THE IRISH SPRINGHOUSE TAVERN SITE AMENDED Humanity-Waukesha County/Muskego Group for the placement of two temporary signs to be installed in succession on a lot in the City of Muskego for the purpose of identifying the location and construction of the Habitat for Humanity house, and WHEREAS, A request has been submitted by Habitat for and pictures of these signs are included with the application, and WHEREAS, Both signs will be 4' x 8' in size made of plywood, make it specific to the Muskego project, which is located on the WHEREAS, The precise message on the signs will be altered to west end of Wentland Drive, on the north side, and immediately to the east of the Irish Springhouse tavern, and WHEREAS, The first sign, "A Habitat for Humanity house will be built on this site soon," will be erected nearly as shown on the pictures, as soon as permission is granted, and WHEREAS, Ground-breaking is tentatively set for Saturday, when the second sign is expected to be erected in replacement of May 23, 1992, and to begin construction within 6 weeks after that the first sign, and contributors, as shown on the pictures and the signs will be installed in conformance with the signage setback requirements, and WHEREAS, The second sign will recognize the major WHEREAS, The Plan Commission has authority to approve the type year for on-site signs. and size of temporary signage for a period not to exceed one (1) THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission approve two temporary 4'x 8' signs on the Habitat for Humanity lot and shall be in conformance with Section 17:6.09 of the City's Code of Ordinances. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the two temporary 4' x 8' plywood on-site signs to be located in succession on the above mentioned site shall be allowed for a period not to exceed one (1) year as designed and located in conformance with the submitted sketches. specified in Section 17:6.09 (12) C. and that the signs shall be BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the top of the two temporary signs shall not be more than 8' above the ground surface.
