WHEREAS, St. Paul's Lutheran Congregation has submitted a
request for a temporary 4' x 8' Christmas theme sign, and
WHEREAS, Section 6.09 (12) of the zoning code allows for
temporary signs for announcement of special event or for similar
special informational purposes for a limited period of time
with approval of the Plan Commission, and
WHEREAS, the size and location of the sign shall be at the
discretion of the Plan Commission based upon the character of the
area, the type and purpose of the sign, and length of time
permitted, and
WHEREAS, this sign will not be used for fundraising, and
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission Minutes of July 16, 1991 reflect
discussion of blanket approval for temporary banners over Hwy. L
