APPROVAL OF SECOND GARAGE STRUCTURE (POLE BARN)

WHEREAS. Plans have been submitted to construct a 56' x
126' second garage structure (pole barn) on the property
addressed as W179 S8246 Pioneer Drive, and
WHEREAS, This property is zoned RS-2/L, and
WHEREAS, The structure will be used for a riding arena for
the owner's horses and to store related equipment and supplies,
and
WHEREAS, The zoning regulations allow these outbuildings
with the limitation that the square footage of all outbuildings
on the property does not exceed 1% of the lot area.
I a WHEREAS, The Plan Commission may grant approvals for
buildings that exceed the 12 if it is found that the area is
predominately undeveloped, and
WHEREAS, There is an existing 26' x 48'outbuilding on the
property.and
WHEREAS, The total square footage would be 8,304 square
I feet, and
WHEREAS, The zoning district 1% limit would be 3.833 square
feet, and
WHEREAS. The building is located in accordance to all other
zoning district requirements: and the lot itself is situated such
that the structure would fit the character of the immediate area,
and

WHEREAS. The immediate development in the area is limited
by the adjoining lowland zoning designation.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED. That the Plan Commission approve
the 56' X 126' second garage structure (pole barn) at W179 Sa246
Pioneer Drive.
