IN THE SE 114 OF SECTION 9 BY THE CITY OF MUSKEG0
WHEREAS. The Finance Committee discussed the sale of City-
owned land behind the City-owned building used by the Parks and
Recreation garage off Pioneer Drive. and
WHEREAS, The City owns Lot 8 and Lots 34-40 in the
Dreikosen Plat in the SE 1/4 of Section 9. and
WHEREAS, The Parks and Recreation Board is recommending
retaining Lot 8 and Lots 34-38 and selling Lots 39 and 40. and
WHEREAS, These lots are 66' x 150'. and
WHEREAS, These lots must be sold to some abutting property
owner because they will not abut a public street, and
WHEREAS, Section 62.23 of the Wisconsin Statutes requires
approval of the Plan Commission for the purchase or sale of any
City-owned land.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission approve
the sale of Lots 39 and 40 to some abutting property owner as an
access from City-owned property so as not to create a landlocked
piece of property.
