APPROVAL OF 10' x 12' SIGN AT S79 W15851 AUD MAR DRIVE
AMENDED
AUD-MAR SUPPER CLUB
WHEREAS, An approximately 88 square foot illuminated sign
has been erected at the entrance of the Aud-Mar Supper Club at
579 W15851 Aud-Mar Drive, and
WHEREAS, A letter had been written on October 29, 1990
stating that the sign was erected without a permit and Plan
Commission approval, and
WHEREAS, The property is zoned OLR and freestanding signs
are permitted as same as in the B-1 zoning, and
WHEREAS, The size permitted is 10' at the base setback line
' of frontage and may be increased by 1 square foot for
10' additional lot frontage and may also be increased 1
foot for every 2' additional setback from the base setback
up to a 40' setback.
WHEREAS, This will limit the size of the sign to 15 1 /2
square feet, and

WHEREAS. This is an irregular lot and the area where the
building is located is approximately 165 feet in width which
would permit a sign of 21 112 square feet.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission
architecturally approve the illuminated sign subject to the Board
of Appeals granting any variance necessary for the 88 square foot
sign.
