AMENDED
WHEREAS, It is proposed to renew a conditional use by
Michael Fischer to use the building addressed as S66 W14543
Janesville Road in the SE 1/4 of Section 2 for the repair and
painting of automobiles, and

WHEREAS, The auto body shop had an expansion of a
conditional use in 1966, and
WHEREAS, The previous use was for Ace Glass, and
WHEREAS, An occupancy permit had been granted basically to
be used as a hobby business and was not to deal with the general
public, and
WHEREAS, A letter had been sent to the owner on October 1,
1990 after it came to the attention of the department that they
were dealing with the general public regarding auto body repair,
and
WHEREAS, He has now petitioned for a conditional use.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission grant
the renewal of the conditional use subject to the following
conditions :
1- No outside storage of automobile parts or equipment.
2- All parking of vehicles awaiting repair and those to be picked
up after repair be located in the building or behind the building
including employee parking and further that the fence screening
should be reviewed by the Fire Department and this item come back
for discussion before the Plan Commission for approval of the
form of screening.

3- Customer parking for a limited period of time (2 hours) be
permitted in the front of the building.
4- At no time shall the automobiles be advertised for sale
outside of the building with the exception of one car registered
to Michael Fischer.
5- The painting will be done inside the building under State
approved methods of exhaust.
6- Request DNR/EPA letter of compliance and inspection to be
administered by the Department of Industry. Labor and Human
Relations in Waukesha to address safety concerns.
7- The hours of operation be six days a week not including Sunday
from 8 AM until 8 PM, but the inside use would not be restricted.
