APPROVAL OF SKETCH FDR SUBDIVIDING PARCEL OF LAND FOR
SUBDIVISION IN THE SE 114 OF SECTION 16-DON MILLER
WHEREAS, A sketch has been submitted that fulfills the
guidelines set by the Plan Commission on July 17, 1990, and
WHEREAS, The area abutting the creek now shows a
playground, picnic area, fishing and garden area connected to a
play area, and
WHEREAS, Lots 1-8 will face an interior street, and
WHEREAS, They have shown a 60' wide road reservation that
connects to a 60' reservation to the west, and
WHEREAS, The Public Hearing has been set and the Plan
Commission has recommended an OPD overlay, and
WHEREAS, The site has 43 acres which would permit 62 lots
and with Plan Commission approval because of the amenities 6
units can be added to this permitting 68 lots, and
WHEREAS, Their request is for 64 lots, and
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission has requested that the
landscaping, play area, and road layout plans should be included
with the submittal of the Preliminary Plat.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission approve
the sketch subject to the rezoning and allowable density
conditioned that the Common Council rezone this property from
RS-1 /L to KS-1 /L/OPD.
