PCR1990138RESOLUTION #P.C. 138-90 DENIAL OF REZONING LAND IN THE SE 114 OF SECTION 1 FROM RS-2 TO RS-2/OD TO ALLOW A DUPLEX TO BE CONSTRUCTED ON THIS PARCEL TODD BUSHBERGW w#mEAAs, The city has received a petition to rezone land in the SE 114 of Section 1 from RS-2 to RS-2/0D to allow a duplex to be constructed on this parcel, and WHEREAS, This parcel is surrounded by single family homes, and WHEREAS, The lot conforms to the Zone District regulations, and WHEREAS, The duplex district overlay intent in Section 9.09 states that the proposed construction should contribute to or improve the surrounding living and environmental character of the potential or the further development of the area, and WHEREAS, This entire area has been developed as single family and by increasing the density at this time would not enhance the surrounding area. THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission recommend to the Common Council denial to rezone land in the SE 114 of Section 1 from RS-2 to RS-2/0D.
