APPROVAL OF TEMPQRARY SIGNS FOR KENDALL CREST APARTMENTS KEN MILLER
AHENDBD
WHEREAS, A request has been submitted by Mr. Ken Miller to
allow temporary signs at the Kendall Crest Apartment Project on
Racine Avenue, and
WHEREAS, The request is for a total of two signs which
advertise the apartments for rent, and
WHEREAS, One sign is a banner located on the apartment
structure facing Racine Avenue, and
WHEREAS, The other sign is a freestanding sign which can be
viewed from Racine Avenue with indirect lighting, and
WHEREAS, Zoning regulations give the Plan Commission the
discretion to approve the size, location and number of temporary
signs, and
WHEREAS, The applicant requests permission for a 6 month
period for these signs.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission approve
the temporary signs for a period of 6 months, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a small non-illuminated sign
could be added to the freestanding sign to advertise the rental
units.
