DISAPPROVAL TO REZONE NE 114 OF SECTION 4 FROM RS-1 TO R%-2/QPD FOR THE CLARENCE BASS PROPERTY-VANGAARD BUILDERS AMENDED
WHEREAS, A petition to rezone the Clarence Bass property in
the NE 114 of Section 4 from RS-1 to RS-2 with an OPD overlay has
been received, and
WHEREAS, This land is located near the Marlan Meadows
Subdivision and the Reynolds Machine Company, and
WHEREAS, It is proposed to have 14 single family lots and
20 duplexes on the remaining land, and
WHEREAS, The plat shows a 50' road reservation along the
east property line for the expansion of Lannon Drive, and
WHEREAS, This plan has been reviewed by the City Planner.
THEREFORE RE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission
recommend disapproval to rezone the NE 114 of Section 4 from RS-1
to RS-2/0PD to the Common Council
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the Department of Planning h
Development be directed to request SEWRPC to determine road
alignment for Lannon Drive extended and to comment on the Sewer
Service Area since a portion is not in the Sewer Service Area and
report back to the commission at a later date.
