SW 114 OF SECTION 18 (C. RNUTOWSKI PROPERTY)-STONERIDGE LANDFILL

WHEREAS, Stoneridge Landfill has petitioned for an
extractive permit to remove clay from the former Knutowski
property located in the SW 1/4 of Section 18 to be used in the
closure of the existing sanitary landfill, and
WHEREAS, The necessary Public Hearing has been held and the
necessary restoration plan submitted, and
WHEREAS, The proposed expansion will not affect the
drainage and will restored so that a slope no greater than 4 to 1
will be provided, and
WHEREAS, Topsoil, seeding and mulching would be progressive
in an area of 300'-400' or 2 acres or more at a time, and
WHEREAS, It is their plan to extract clay for two weeks and
then seed and Phase 111 is to be done in 1990, and
WHEREAS, It is proposed to use dust control during the
extractive process.

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, The Plan Commission approve the
conditional use grant for the extractive operation in this 1-1
District and recommend that the Common Council issue a permit for
a period not to exceed two years subject to the necessary signing
and recording of the appropriate documents.
