PCR1989056APPROVING REZONING FOR LOT 10 IN THE MC LAUGHLIN SUBDIVISION RESOLUTION 8P.C. 56-89 W198 S10955 RACINE AVENUE FROU RS-2IOLS to RS-Z/OLS/OD HAROLD DE BACK WHEREAS, A petition was received on April 6, 1989 to rezone Lot 10 in the Mc Laughlin Subdivision from RS-2/0LS to RS- 2/0LS/OD to permit the construction of a duplex. WHEREAS, The OD zoning requires double the lot size of the underlying base district, and WHEREAS, This lot contains 24,851 square feet which is 1,815 square feet below the 26,666 square feet zone district requirement, and WHEREAS, Board of Appeals approval is required to grant the 1,815 square foot lot size variance, and WHEREAS, The Lake Denoon Advancement Association has gone on record as being opposed to multi-family but feel the proposal to construct a duplex will improve and upgrade the surrounding area, and WHEREAS, All outhouses and unused structures will be removed and no other dwelling units will be permitted on the premises, and WHEREAS, Any structure used as an accessory structure must have building, site and operation plan approval. Page 2 PCF56-89 THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission approve the rezoning of Lot 10 of the Mc Laughlin Subdivision addressed as W198 S10955 Racine Avenue from RS-2/0LS to RS-2/0LS/OD to the Common Council to permit the construction of a duplex subject to the 1,815 square foot variance being granted by the Board of Appeals.
