WHEREAS, Sign plans have been submitted requesting that a 3
1/2' x 6' double faced sign be installed on the existing
freestanding sign at the property addressed as 574 W17100
Janesville Road, and
WHEREAS, The proposed sign will be internally illuminated
cabinet type sign, and
WHEREAS, The sign face will include three lines of h inch
changeable message letters (reader board), and
WHEREAS, The existing sign exceeds the B-4 zoning
district's square footage requirements and is therefore non-
conforming, and
WHEREAS, The request is for approximately an additional 21
square feet of signage and would require a variance from the
Board of Appeals.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission
disapprove the additional signage for St. Francis Savings and
Loan at S74 W17100 Janesville Road.
