RESOLUTION CP.C. 95-88
APPROVAL OF TEMPORARY FIREWORKS STANDS
WHEREAS, It is proposed to place a 12' X 25' tent at the
Sentry Food Store, Janesville Road with 8 square feet of signage,
and
WHEREAS, It is proposed to place a 12' X 25' tent across
from the 24 Drive In, S63 W13131 Janesville Road with 8 square
feet of signage, and
WHEREAS, These tents will be used as stands to sell
fireworks, and
WHEREAS. These stands would he in operation from June 11 to
July 5, 1988, and
a WHEREAS, The hours of operation will he from 9:00 A.M. to
9:00 P.M.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission approve
the tents with 8 square feet of signage each to be located at the
Sentry Food Store and S63 W13131 Janesville Road across from 24
Drive In under the following conditions:
1. That the tents will not be placed on the right of way
or in the visual setback area.
2. That the structures and signs be removed from the above
premises by July 8, 1988.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That this approval does not usurp
the authority of the Common Council in permitting the operation
to be licensed. e BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That this approval is contingent
I c upon the petitioner given approval in Resolution AP.C. 72-87 not
being granted a license by the Common Council.
