RECOMMENDING CHANGE OF THE DISTRICT MAP FROM R1-RSl HILLENDALE - SE 114 SECTION 7 h NE 114 SECTION 8
WHEREAS, The City has proposed to sewer areas abuttine.
Hillendale Drive in the SE 1/4 of Section 7 and the NE 1/4 of
Section 8, and
WHEREAS, The existing R1 zonine. requires 80,000 square foot
lots with 200' average width, and
WHEREAS, The intent of R1 zoning is for semi-rural 1are.e
lots not intended to be served by municipal sewer or water
facilities, and
WHEREAS, RSl zoning requires 30,000 square foot lots with
120 average width intended for low density areas intended to be
served by municipal sewer.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission
recommend to the Common Council that the area in the SE 1/4 of
Section 7 and the NE 1/4 of Section R be rezoned from R1 to RS1.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission recommend
to the Common Council that the area recommended for rezoning be
that area on Hillendale from Sunny Hill Drive southwest to a
point of approximately 463' southwest of Gaffney Drive and to
include 43' northest of the Kotnik property.
