PCR1987182e RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF EXTENTION OF WASTE MANAGEMENT

CONTRACT - SANITARY LANDFILL CROWBAR h WAUER LANE
WHEREA$, Waste Managment of Wisconsin, Inc. is petitioning
for a renewal of the landfill disposal permit, and
WHEREAS, The Public Welfare Committee is negotiating with
Waste Management regarding conditions/changes to the contract,
and
WHEREAS, The Public Welfare Committee is recommending the
following changes to the existing contract: 1) Section 3.7 -
hours of operation from 7:OO AM to 4:30 PM Monday throueh Friday
and 7:30 AM to 4:OO PM on Saturday; and Section 6.1 recycling,
and
WHEREAS, The committee is recommending an increase to
$30,000 per year for the life of the contract.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission approve
the extention of the existing permit conditioned on the final
negotiations with the Common Council of any changes to the
existing contract.
